Terms and Conditions of Registration with the Saskatchewan Cricket Association

• Registration Fee:

By registering with the Saskatchewan Cricket Association (SCA), players agree to pay a registration fee of $30. This fee is non-refundable and covers administrative costs associated with player registration.

• Liability Waiver:

Players acknowledge and accept that participation in cricket activities organized by the SCA carries inherent risks. By registering with the SCA, players waive any claims against the association, its officers, agents, and representatives for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during cricket activities.

• Responsibility for Minors:

Players bringing minors to cricket grounds are responsible for their supervision and safety at all times. The SCA is not liable for any injuries or incidents involving minors on the premises.

• Compliance with SCA Laws and Rules:

Players agree to comply with all laws, regulations, and rules set forth by the SCA. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in disciplinary action, including fines, suspensions, or expulsion from SCA events.

• Marketing Communications:

By registering with the SCA, players consent to receive marketing communications, including newsletters, promotions, and event updates, from the association. Players may opt out of these communications at any time.

• Code of Conduct:

Players agree to abide by the SCA's code of conduct, which includes respecting opponents, officials, and fellow players, and maintaining the integrity of the game. Violations of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action.

• Release of Likeness:

Players grant the SCA the right to use their likeness, including photographs and videos, for promotional purposes, both online and offline.

• Indemnification:

Players agree to indemnify and hold harmless the SCA, its officers, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in SCA activities.

• Amendments to Terms and Conditions:

The SCA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Players will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in SCA activities constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

• Governing Law:

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan, Canada. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Saskatchewan Cricket Association

• Payment Processing:

The registration fee of $30 is collected through the payment processing service provided by Stripe. Players acknowledge that Stripe is a third-party service and that any issues or malfunctions with the Stripe software are outside the control of the Saskatchewan Cricket Association (SCA).

Players understand that the SCA cannot be held liable for any disruptions, errors, or security breaches related to the Stripe payment processing service. Any disputes or concerns regarding payments made through Stripe should be directed to Stripe's customer support.

By proceeding with the registration process and making payment through Stripe, players agree to abide by Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to the terms and conditions outlined by the SCA.

By completing the registration process, players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
